Prime Teak Oil is teak oil developed for the regular maintenance of outdoor wood and garden furniture.

Surface Preparation
- Clean the surface from all dirt, oil and dust.
- New Wood Surfaces: Sand the wood surface with 80/120 grit sandpaper. Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
- Old Unpainted/Unvarnished Wooden Surfaces: Clean worn/discolored wood by sanding with 80/120 grit sandpaper.
- Painted/Varnished Wooden Surfaces: Do not apply the product directly to painted/varnished surfaces. Completely remove the old paint/varnish from the surface with sandpaper. Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
Application
- The product is ready to use and does not require dilution.
- Before use, mix the product well and apply 1 layer with a brush or cloth, remove excess oil by combing it with a cloth or brush.
- If the second layer is to be applied on wood with high absorbency, apply the second layer after 12 hours and remove the excess oil by combing it with a cloth or brush.
- Wait 24 hours for complete drying.
Care
- Do not apply the product directly to painted/varnished surfaces.
- Clean the wooden surface of all dirt and oil and give it a thorough sanding.
- Thoroughly clean off any dust that has formed.
- Repeat the steps in the “Application” heading.
- Maintenance of wooden surfaces should be repeated every season.
General Instructions
For product application, health and safety information, read the product's Technical User Guide and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in the documentation section.
- For the maintenance of your garden furniture, apply the product in 1 layer with a brush, cloth or roller, remove excess oil by brushing.
- If too much oil is left on the surface, it forms a film layer and the product dries late. Thus, Homogeneous appearance is not provided, it holds dust.
- Maintenance of wooden surfaces should be repeated every season.
- It should not be forgotten to remove excess oil by brushing or cloth. Thus, the oil is distributed and absorbed evenly on the surface.
- For ease of operation, there should not be too much oil to be applied on the surface.
- Pine etc. If you want to use it on soft woods, it is recommended to apply 2 coats.
- FOR EXTERIOR USE ONLY.
- Keep product closed when not in use.
- The general application temperature of the product is between 15°C to 25°C at a relative humidity range of 40-65%.
- The moisture content of the wood should be max. 20%.
- Do not apply the product under direct sunlight or rain.
- To provide a long lifetime protection against decay, apply Prime Wood Preserver on untreated softwoods and wait 24 hours before applying Prime Teak Oil.
- The product should be stored at temperatures between 5°C to 35°C. Painting tools should be cleaned with mineral spirits after the application
The colors shown here are applied on pine and care has been taken to ensure that they are close to reality. The color and shine you will achieve will vary depending on the properties, texture and absorbency of the wood. Additionally, how thick and how many layers of paint is applied will also affect the result. In order to see the real color, it is recommended to try it on the wood to be used.
