Water-based wood coloring oil for decking and garden furniture

Surface Preparation:
- Clean the surface from all dirt, oil and dust.
New Wood Surfaces:
- Sand the wooden surface with sandpaper no. 150/180.
- Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
Old Unpainted/Unvarnished Wooden Surfaces:
- Clean the worn/discolored wood by sanding it with 150/180 sandpaper.
- Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
Painted/Varnished Wooden Surfaces:
- Do not apply the product directly to old painted/varnished surfaces.
- Completely remove the old paint/varnish from the surface with sandpaper.
- Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
Application:
- The product is ready to use and does not require thinning.
- Stir the product thoroughly before use and check its homogeneity. Repeat this process during the application.
- Apply the product in 1 layer with a brush, cloth or dip and wait 4-6 hours for complete drying.
- If a second coat is to be applied on wood with high absorbency, apply the second coat after 4-6 hours and remove excess oil by combing it with a cloth or brush.
- To obtain a homogeneous appearance, apply in the direction of the grains in the wood.
Maintenance (If the same product has been used before):
- Do not apply the product directly to painted/varnished surfaces.
- Completely remove the old paint/varnish from the surface with sandpaper.
- Thoroughly remove any dust generated.
- Repeat the steps in the “Application” heading.
- Inspect annually and maintain as required.
General Instruction:
- Keep product closed when not in use.
- The general application temperature of the product is between 15oC to 25oC at a relativehumidity range of 40-65%.
- The moisture content of the wood to be applied must be below 20%.
- Do not use the product in direct sunlight or in rainy weather.
- Do not apply any materials such as linseed oil, filling varnish, yacht varnish on the wood to be used on the exterior, before or after Prime Deck and Garden Furniture Hybrid Oil.
- Impregnate pine and similar soft-textured or unimpregnated woods with Prime Impregnation before applying Prime Deck and Garden Furniture Hybrid Oil to protect them against decay and gain a long service life. Wait 24 hours for Prime Impregnation to dry.
- The product should be stored between 5°C and 35°C.
- Painting tools should be cleaned with soap and plenty of warm water after application.
The lifespan of wood increases with regular maintenance. To ensure ideal protection, check your wood every year and maintain it if necessary.
The colors shown above were applied on pine and care was taken to ensure that they were realistic. The color and brightness you will achieve will vary depending on the properties of the wood, its texture, absorbency and screen settings. Additionally, how thick and how many layers of paint is applied will also affect the result. In order to see the real color, it is recommended to try it on the wood to be used.
